Earlier this year as part of TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik’s continuing research and development program, the Massachusetts based band THE BREW were invited to TELEFUNKEN Studios in South Windsor, CT to help Team T-funk road test some new microphone designs.
During this R&D session THE BREW tracked one complete song from start to finish, while the process exclusively employed TELEFUNKEN microphones. Many of the microphones are stock production models; some were prototypes of new ideas in development. Most of the sounds were captured using multiple microphones providing countless tonal mix options.
